When some of Country Education Foundation's passionate volunteers came up with the idea of pushing a giant model pig from Boorowa to Orange to raise funds to get more rural and regional young people on their way to further education, training and jobs, we thought, why not?
It's all about going the whole hog for youth education - something our dedicated volunteers do every day.
And now you can join the fun and help raise funds to get more country kids on their way to further education, training and jobs.

What's the CEF Pig Push all about?
The 2017 CEF Pig Push is an on on-raod charity event with all funds raised going to Country Education Foundation to support further education, training, jobs and mentoring for rural and regional young people.
Passionate supporters will be covering approximately 200 kilometres across country NSW in an attempt to go the whole hog for this great cause. It's our mission to raise over $50,000 through sponsors and fundraising events along the way.
When and where is the CEF Pig Push taking place?
Over seven days in late March 2017 teams of supporters will push a giant model pig for 200 kilometres, from Boorowa to Orange, NSW. Now that's going the whole hog!
Each day will require two teams to cover approximately 30 kilometres (about 15 kilometres pushing per team). Teams will be made up of crews of approximately 10 people.
Teams will be sent off and welcomed in style by the locals at each destination. The event will be followed by a full support crew and lunch and activities will be provided to keep morale high and the festivities fun. Local cafes, pubs, community groups and organisations are providing refreshments and support at each destination.
